Sight Loss Councils and Thomas Pocklington Trust are encouraging residents to cut back any trees, shrubs or hedges that overhang pavements to help keep them clear for pedestrians

We are also encouraging people to report it as overgrown vegetation, foliage and over-hanging branches are a hazard for blind and partially sighted (BPS) people. It causes injuries and prevents BPS people from navigating safely and independently.
